I've just barely gotten the Thanksgiving dishes washed and put away when I started getting ready for the game of the year! If you live in the state of Alabama one thing is for sure, you have to make a choice....you either pull for Auburn or the other university in the state. Without a doubt you know who my team is WAR EAGLE!!! I'm not just a fan, we(Honey & Me) are Auburn Alumni.
This year we hosted both of our families for Thanksgiving! It was fabulous with the one exception that our John, was sick...with who knows what but as I type this, he is still on the sofa with a slight fever. The absolute best part of the day was having my great nephew, Ethan with us! We are all madly in love with the little guy! I promise to share more about him soon.
Ya'll I've been about to burst with excitement! My little blog was invited to participate in a holiday home tour!!!!!! When the amazing interior designer and blogger at Confetti Style, Shelly contacted me to ask if I'd be willing to join her along with a few other amazing bloggers and I couldn't say YES fast enough!!
Growing up we always had cornbread dressing for every major holiday, not just for Thanksgiving. While Mother is one of the best cooks, I never cared much for her dressing. When I married Honey, I became acquainted with his Aunt Jean. Aunt Jean is a fabulous cook and her dressing is absolute perfection of southern dressing if ever there was any. For years, Honey's Mother...aka Pie would bring dressing to us where ever we lived as a gift from Aunt Jean. When we moved back home to Auburn, Aunt Jean gave me lessons in how to make "her" dressing. That is what I am sharing with you today!
