The Powder Room Reveal {Finally}

If memory serves, I left you all dangling over the finished product of the powder room back last summer.  When last I mentioned the half bath my friend's husband was installing crown molding, you can revisit that post here.  The walls and ceiling were both painted Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore.  I'm so glad I used such a neutral color, it looks fab!

The Alison Evans Oyster plate was a gift from my MIL several years ago.  The shelf is a recent find at you guessed it Old Chipley Market.  The base is a claw from a claw foot tub, ya'll it has such a gorgeous patina I could hardly stand it when I saw it.  I knew this would "finish" the room!

 The mirror is from Lowe's and the candle is Southern Pear by Park Hill.   The faucet has been with us since the original redo back 7 years ago, it is made by Pfister. Anytime someone goes into that bath they always remark about the faucet.

When Honey sees the pic of the switch plate he is so not going to understand....but I adore this!  Looks so much better than the plain old white one that was there.
The box on the back of the toliet was a find over at Sweet Home Antiques.  I have books from Saint Simons Island in it!
For the longest time I couldn't decide if there was enough room to put anything over the toliet.  With the mirror over the sink and the blue heron on the other wall it felt like things might be cramped.  But I decided to just go for it and I think it works just fine!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by! The heron was done by Charles Leonard. He is an artist from around the Georgia Coast. If you google him his gallery comes right up...www.charlesleonardsstudio.com. I've seen him in and around Georgia at various places like arts & craft shows, Americasmart in Atlanta and also he has been at Scott's Antiques in Atlanta.
      Also check out a post about when I met him and purchased the heron here:
