The Parlor at Sweet Home Plantation

Today we continue our tour of Sweet Home Plantation.  The parlor is a show stopper for sure.  The window treatments are truly swoon worthy!  The placement of the art in this room is impeccable.

It has been so long since I saw a gum drop tree and you wouldn't believe the fit I threw when I saw these!

One day, I promise you I will do this. The pineapple was sitting on a beautiful table right in the middle of the room.  You get a peak into the dining room from this view.

The mantle absolutely steals the show in this room.  The marble that covers the fireplace is spectacular and fits this room quite appropriately.

In all of the home, this might be the corner that if I could recreate in my own home I would!  The antique chest fits this location perfectly.  The clock, decanters and the portrait complete this vignette and gives it such visual interest.
