A Springtime Green Tablescape

The grass in my yard is a far cry from being green yet.  I have to admit, I long to see green grass and blue skies.  Maybe it is the long winter we have had or maybe I have spring fever either way, I needed some green in my day!  I started playing around with dishes, table linens and candles and it brightened my day.

This could almost double as our St. Patrick's Day tablescape with all the green.
It might be the perfect time to mention that last fall I went to work...at a job!  After being home for 18 years with the boys I wanted something fun, something that I could do a little design work in and something that I didn't have to take home with me at night.  Well Pier 1 Imports was the perfect place for me to do all of those things I wanted.  And the PERKS you get from working at a place as fab as Pier1 just sends me over the moon.  I do have to keep myself in check and not spend more than I make;).  So while I am an employee of Pier 1 Imports, they did not pay me to do this post.  With that said, let me gush about how gorgeous our spring line is.  Those gorgeous hurricanes...you guessed it Pier 1.
Last year before Honey's big 50th party that you can see here, I picked up the green wooden chargers along with the table runner at Pier 1 Imports.  This green is so versatile that it can be used during many times of the year, I used them at Christmas, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick's Day and Easter.  The table runner stays on the table a large part of the year since it is so neutral.
The garden dish with faux succulents is also via Pier 1 Imports.  Try as I may to grow plants, Smokey the cat just won't hear of it.
As soon as these Chevron napkins came into the store I was bringing them home!  I plan on using these also at Easter, so come back soon to see that tablescape.

  1. You did a great job on your table, Tamyra! LOVE the chunky candle holders. I was wondering where you found them and then low and behold, I see that you're working at Pier 1. Glad you're loving your job. I would have a terrible time not spending all of my paycheck if I worked there. lol
